Suspect Arrested for Multiple Vehicle Break-Ins and Related Felony Crimes

           

(Fayetteville, NC) – Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department’s Property and Fraud Units have made an arrest in numerous property crime and related cases that spanned the entire city since the end of March.

Ali Qasim Lateef Alzubaidi (W/M, 18 years of age, of the 4400 block of Westfield Rd) has been arrested and charged with numerous charges to include:

 

Breaking and Entering Motor Vehicle (12 counts), Larceny (9 counts), Possession of Stolen Goods (10 counts), Financial Card Theft (2 counts), Conspiracy (7 counts), Common Law Robbery, Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Breaking and Entering Building, Larceny after Breaking and Entering, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana, Maintain a vehicle for keeping/selling of controlled substances, Fleeing to Elude Arrest, Drivng without Headlights, Driving while License Revoked, Driving without Registering the Vehicle, Fictitious/Altered Registration, Resisting public officer, and Assault on a police officer.

 

Alzubaidi has been booked into the Cumberland County Detention Center and released on $180,000 bond (modified to unsecured).

 

Detectives with both the Fayetteville Police Department and the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department continue to investigate other cases in which Alzubaidi may have involvement.
