Detectives Seek Assistance Identifying Robbery Suspect

 

              

(Fayetteville, NC) – Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department’s Robbery unit are seeking the public’s assistance identifying a suspect who committed business robbery on April 26, 2020, at the Speedway located along the 2800 block of Owen Drive at approximately 11:45 pm.

 

The preliminary investigation revealed the suspect entered the business, implied he had a handgun and demanded money. The clerk complied and the suspect was able to leave the business with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect was last seen leaving the scene on foot toward Gillespie Street.

Detectives have obtained still images from the stores surveillance system and are requesting the public’s assistance identifying him.

 

The suspect is described as:

  • Hispanic or Native American Male
  • Early 20’s to Late 20’s
  • Approximately 5’5” tall
