Update to Homicide Investigation

 

(Fayetteville, NC) – On May 12, 2020, Andre Roye turned himself in to the Cumberland County Detention Center. Roye was wanted in connection with the shooting death of Domingo Cook, which occurred along the 800 block of Murchison Road on March 27, 2020.

Andre Devon Roye (B/M, 26 years of age) of the 1700 block of McGougan Road, has been charged with voluntary manslaughter. Roye was issued a $250,000 secured bond.

(Fayetteville, NC) – Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department’s Homicide Unit have charged a suspect with the shooting death of Domingo Cook, which occurred along the 800 block of Murchison Road on March 27, 2020.

Andre Devon Roye (B/M, 26 years of age) of the 1700 block of Mcgougan Road, has been charged with voluntary manslaughter. Roye has not yet been arrested.

Update to Homicide Investigation – Help Locate

 

Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department are attempting to locate Carl Donatello Roye (B/M 29 years of age) and Andre Devon Roye (B/M, 26 years of age) who both have information regarding the shooting death of Domingo Cook which occurred on March 27, 2020, at approximately 12:16 am, along the 800 block of Murchison Road.

The vehicle below, a 2006 Hyundai Tuscan, was at the scene during the time of the crime and Carl and Andre are believed to have information about the vehicle. The vehicle has not been located and detectives are requesting the public’s assistance regarding the whereabouts of the vehicle.

(Fayetteville, NC) – Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department’s Homicide Unit are requesting the public’s assistance with locating a person and vehicles of interest in the shooting death of Domingo Cook that occurred at Day and Nite Food Mart along the 800 block of Murchison Road.

Update to Shooting Investigation

 

(Fayetteville, NC) – Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department’s Homicide Unit have identified the victim of the shooting death which occurred in the parking lot of the Day and Nite Food Mart located along the 800 block of Murchison Road.

 

Domingo Cook, (B/M, 49 years of age) was pronounced deceased at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. His next of kin has been notified.

 

Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department’s Homicide Unit are actively investigating the shooting and request anyone with information to contact them.

Shooting Investigation

 

(Fayetteville, NC) – On Friday, March 27, 2020, at approximately 12:16 am, officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to Day and Nite Food Mart along the 800 block of Murchison Road reference a report of a shooting.

Officers arrived on scene and located one (1) male suffering from gunshot wounds in the parking lot of the business. Officers summoned medical personnel to the scene and the victim who was shot was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.  

The identity of the victim is currently being withheld pending next of kin notification.

Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department’s Homicide Unit are actively investigating the shooting and request anyone with information to contact them.

The Fayetteville / Cumberland County Crimestoppers program is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information submitted to Crimestoppers that leads to an arrest.

Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
